Xfm New Noise Tracklist: Saturday 12th January 2008

It's been really interesting seeing how listeners have responded to the music I've been playing on Xfm on a Saturday night.  For some reason there seemed to be a lot of people with 'the arse' tuned in at the beginning of this week's show. 

"THIS IS MEANT TO BE XFM!  WHAT'S ALL THIS CHAV SHIT??" pretty much sums up the content in a fair few texts I received not long after I took to the air at 9.  Yes, it is unprofessional to respond to them via the airwaves, but sometimes you get riled and can't help it.  I genuinely mean it when I say that I welcome 'all feedback, good and bad', but really, surely some of these people could just stick on their battered old copy of Performance and Cocktails and have done with it?

 

Anyway, here's the music I played.  There is SO much stuff I just couldn't squeeze in, but I guess there's always next week.  Cheers for stopping by, and don't forget you can while away the listless hours of the week by listening again here if you missed it.  (...just try not to take any notice of my semi-whingeing)
